Playing with polymer...

What to do when the Nastasha pattern in polymer clay  is an epic fail!! :)

Just got back from Reedsburg Dam, near Houghton Lake Mi. I saw the most spectacular moon set! I unfortunately did not get a picture. The moon was BRIGHT orange..Amazing! ..Anyway here are some pics from the trip.

I seem to add stuff all in one day, rather than every day or so. I have a feeling that is not too uncommon in the blogging sphere. At least I hope so. Here are some earrings I made from copper washers I bought at Harbor Freight. My husband is amazed and happy that I actually want to go to the hardware store now! 

  

From a morning walk along the Grand River.

Just spent 3 days in Detroit. We went to the Detroit Institute of the Arts. Of all the magnificent pieces we saw (and we saw a lot!) This is the portrait that has stayed with me.

 My daughter and I in front of the Gillis house in Brush Park. Just a couple of blocks away from the ballpark and football thingy.The two other pictures are from the Detroit Free Press. The black and white photo was the house in its heyday. Fortunately Nicole Curtis from Rehab Addict (television show) is going to restore it. GO NICOLE!

The morning sun hitting the tree tops in my backyard. It is a blessing to be living smack dab in the middle of the city and still be able to see the beauty of nature showing off.

I just got my drill!! It's not a Dremel, but it works.
